As the primary fundraiser for the Longmeadow Historical Society, Long Meddowe Days makes the town's long and illustrious history its main focus. From the authentic Civil War encampment in the middle of the festival, to walking tours of the Old Burying Yard , to a guided tour of the many stunning historic homes of Longmeadow Street, history buffs will find much to do. A collection of remarkable artifacts from the Historical Society's headquarters, the Storrs House, will be available for viewing in a museum on the green.
